We've just completed a small script update to expand our basic Browse Node Lookup services to cater not only for Amazon US, but also for Amazon CA, Amazon FR, Amazon DE and Amazon UK. Our browse Node Loopkup pre-formats the Browse Nodes ready for inclusion to ASM2 *.inc files.
To reinterate, the BrowseNodes system of Amazon.com is a numerical value related in almost a three-dimensional web where one BrowseNode can be its own parent, with or without one or more ancestor, and can be endowed with one or more child BrowseNodes, spanning further and further down the hierarchy tree. Node A might be, for example, Shoes. Node B might be Women. Node C, a child of BrowseNodes A and B, might be Women’s Shoes. These nodes are displayed as part of the location URL of any Amazon product category that you are browsing.
Browse Node Lookup services is a great help for niche product store developers as this is where they go to review product category nodes and later harvest these nodes for inclusion in their stores. Not having access to Browse Node Lookup service means you literally have to collect these nodes from Amazon's location URL itself.
You can use the searchindex headers of each Amazon locale table below as a shortcut to our lookup pages...
