Google updates its internal PageRank value continuously as the web changes and their index is updated. It's only once every third month or so that this value is exported to be displayed in the Google Toolbar. So the PageRank value of a site as shown in the Google Toolbar may not be true to its current value.
Different from just displaying a snapshot of the PageRank that is displayed in the toolbar, the Raketforskning.com's Live PageRank calculator actually queries Google's index and gives you the current PageRank value as available in Google's database.
This result may cause a discrepancy between Live PageRank and Toolbar PageRank prior to an update and this may concern webmasters as to the validy of the query results.
